External Instructions
1. Assemble anchor bolts to lower plate using 6 thin nuts. Tighten. Important: Leave 3" of anchor bolts above lower plate to allow for proper clearance when raising pole.
2. Dig hole according to Specifications Chart. center anchor assembly in hole, ensuring that hinge is positioned to be clear of any obstructions when raising pole. Pour concrete around bolts to ground level, and check lower plate for levelness. Allow concrete to set at least 24 hours.
3. Attach hardware to pole in following order: a) Slide flash collar over pole.
b) Attach revolving truck with screws (3) in pre-drilled holes at the top of the pole. c) Attach rope cleat to pole with flathead screws (2)
d) Insert halyard (rope) straight through hole in revolving truck. Tie halyard ends together, attach flag clips to suit flag and wrap around cleat. e) Screw brass finial onto revolving truck and tighten firmly by hand.
4. Raise flagpole in following order: a) Insert hinge bolt and hand tighten nut. b) Attach large nut to each anchor bolt by hand until they touch thin nuts. Place washer over each nut.
c) Raise pole and tighten washer and remaining large nuts over each bolt. d) Level pole vertically by adjusting large nuts (top & bottom). Tighten when level. |
Internal Instructions

3. Attach hardware to pole in following order: a) Slide flash collar over pole. b) Insert halyard end into bottom of truck and out either side hole at top of truck.
c) Attach revolving truck with screws (3) in pre-drilled holes at the top of the pole. d) Attach end of halyard securely to steel snap. e) Insert one end of weighted retaining ring into steel snap. Wrap weighted ring around pole and secure to steel snap. Important: Ensure that the weighted ring is formed smoothly around the pole, and is not kinked or distorted in any way. Release halyard from cam cleat and slide to bottom of pole. Or insert crank handle to lower halyard to bottom of pole.
f) Attach flag clips to suit flag. g) Screw brass finial onto revolving truck and tighten firmly by hand.
